The short version of the rules

These terms cover how Greeting Card Fun works: accounts, credits, generated images, and sharing. They are not a substitute for legal advice.

The service

Greeting Card Fun lets you create personalized digital greeting cards: pick a template, upload a photo, generate an AI-merged image, optionally add text and motion, then share or download.
Cards are 3:4 portrait e-cards. Share links can include on-screen motion. Downloads and social preview images are a static PNG. Animated GIF or video export is not offered yet.
By using the site you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

You can browse templates and upload a photo without signing in. Generating a card requires an account (Google, X, or email magic link) and credits.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep access to your sign-in method secure.
The service is not intended for children under 13.

New accounts receive 1 free credit. Credits never expire.
1 credit pays for one generation set: the first successful AI merge, plus an optional second merge of the same photo and template. Changing photo or template and merging again starts a new set and uses another credit.
If the first merge in a set fails after a credit is deducted, we refund that credit. Customizing text or effects, cloning a card, and re-sharing do not use credits and do not run another merge.
Credit packs are one-time purchases (currently 1, 3, or 10 credits). There is no subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Pack prices are shown at checkout.

You must own or have permission to use photos and text you upload. Do not upload images of people without a right to use them, or illegal, abusive, or infringing content.
You keep rights in your original photo and the text you write. You grant us a license to store, process, and display that material as needed to run the service (including sending the photo and template to our AI provider to generate the card).
Generated images are for personal, non-commercial greeting-card use unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

New cards and clones start as link only and stay out of the public gallery. Anyone with the share link can view them without signing in, including people the link is forwarded to.
Choose Show in public gallery to let people browsing the site discover your card. Only publish photos you have permission to share publicly. You can remove your card from the gallery in your Dashboard; its existing share link will still work. Cards saved before this change keep their existing gallery setting.
Share pages show the card (and its animations) with a minimal footer — not the full site chrome.

Do not abuse generation, scrape the site, reverse-engineer the service, interfere with other users, or attempt to bypass credits, rate limits, or authentication.
We may suspend accounts, withhold generations, or remove cards if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

We provide the service as-is. Features, templates, pricing, and credit rules may change. We will try to keep paid credits usable for generation.
AI output can be imperfect, unexpected, or unavailable. We do not guarantee a specific likeness, quality, or that a merge will succeed.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Greeting Card Fun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost credits beyond a refund of the unused purchased amount for the affected purchase where required.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where we operate the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
